Chapter XIX Car Show 2023
On 16 SEP 2023, Chapter XIX ran its very first Car Show to benefit the Chapter.
Woody’s Roadside Tavern, where the Chapter usually meets was gracious enough to offer a large portion of their parking lot to house the show. Originally we planned on 50 vehicles but, the response was so immediate and overwhelming that with further generosity from Woody’s we increased capacity to 65.
Chapter Member Andy Barcellona organized, fund raised, and supervised most of the event with the help of the Chapter. Andy proved to be an exceptional asset in this regard. He has restored and won shows with his own vehicles in the past. The Chapter cannot thank him enough for this success.
Judges of national prominence rated the vehicles in multiple categories, and awards were issued to winners. There was swag bags raffled, a 50/50, music, and other activities.
