It is with regret and sadness that we report the passing of Dennis Carroll a life member of Chapter 19. He served with Company B, 11th SFG(Abn). CARROLL – Dennis J., of Smithtown, NY (passed away) on April 3, 2017. (He was a) Retired Homicide Detective NYPD and Proud VietnamArmy Veteran. Beloved husband of Annie. Loving father of Christine (Brian) Cook and Dennis J. (Tracy) Carroll, Jr. Cherished grandfather of Deanna, Keara, Fiona, Graham and Clarissa. Dear brother of NoreenWohlgemuth and Kathleen Ilacqua. Visitation will be at the Branch Funeral Home, 190 E. Main St., Smithtown, NY onWednesday & Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Friday, 9:30am at St. Joseph R. C. Church, Kings Park. Interment at Calverton National Cemetery.
