Operation Viking 2022
Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC)
The Chapter continues to assist in the training of our younger troops for deployment. This time, by participating as role players for Operation Viking 2022 up in Joint Base Cape Cod. This was a large scale exercise that involved many units. Chapter 19 invited other SFA Chapters in New England and had members of Chapter 48 in Rhode Island and Chapter 54 in Boston join us. Besides ourselves we were honored to meet younger brothers of the 3rd SFG(A), who were also participating. It turned out to be good experience by all who participated.
We were also gratified to meet and benefit from the care and camaraderie of SFC Rose, SSG Selman, SSG Angel, and SGT Adeyemo and the Mess Hall Crew of the New York National Guard Unit that fed us up there, (and didn’t have to).
