Patriot Polar Plunge 2022
On Saturday, 05 FEB 2022, a team from Chapter XIX participated in the Patriot Polar Plunge, in Sea Girt, New Jersey. This raised funds for L.I.F.T. (Local Initiative For Troops) done by the Coastal Habitat for Humanity, that continues to assist local veterans with critical home repairs.
This year the Plunge is in honor of Veteran and State Trooper Juan Fajardo. Most of the team went in the water but Chapter Medics stood by to assist in case anyone over did it. The plunge was followed by relocation to Harrigan’s Irish Pub where a complimentary brunch was given and many of us stayed even longer than that and had dinner.
